Calogero Calì

Born in Catanzaro in 1938, he receives a classical education and moves to Milan at a young age to graduate in law. It is 1960. He is now an attorney who specialises first in tributary law and later in commercial law, and goes on to set up one of the best known legal offices in Italy. In late 1981 he merges the two great passions of his life with the acquisition of Rocca di Castagnoli in Chianti: agriculture and wine. Today, he heads a kingdom which boasts different fiefs throughout Tuscany and Sicily. An empire which he governs following the two values which have always guided him: the beautiful and the tasty.
